TRACE is Rico Logistics’ real-time web booking and tracking system, developed to provide customers with a total solution to booking, tracking and reporting, and instant access to live information.

The system can be used to book and track any combination of Rico Logistics’ services. For example, urgent parts can be picked from any of our PartsStore field stock locations and despatched by our PartsExpress same-day courier service or installed by our PartsTech technical courier facility. All of this can be managed from your own desktop.

• Quick to deploy and is easy to use, with authorised access available from any Internet connected PC or device with a web browser wherever you may be
• Appropriate members of staff will be able to book, label, enquire and monitor the status of orders from their own PC or device
• Clear and simple web forms
• Real-time integration with full data exchange facilities including XML option. Your order details can be imported directly into TRACE
• Addresses are post code verified at the point of booking and maintained within an address book
• Bar code labels can be produced at any stage, at any location, on any thermal or laser printer
• Consignment details can be loaded in advance and the labels printed in volume as and when required
• Full POD and performance reporting real-time with our scanners and XDAs
• The system provides a clear display of all the information about a given consignment, including all the tracking details and any comments or exceptions recorded against the consignment
• Accurate transactional status reports direct to your desktop or device

Reverse logistics – Rico PartsBack

TRACE, allied to Rico PartsBack, brings real control to this difficult and expensive area of distribution, by allowing you to book detailed collections anywhere in the UK and then monitor the exact status of your returns. You are also able to redirect returns to third parties (using Rico PartsLink) producing inbound manifests ahead of the delivery vehicles arriving at either their or your own goods-in department.

The control panel is visible at Customer level, at all our PartsStore locations and central control. This monitors progress and status of all jobs entered with changing, colour-coded indicators.
